Gemma grew up in Kent, on the South East coast, and has always been fascinated by the environment, and the connections that human beings have with it.
Her interest in the philosophy of Chinese Medicine began several years ago when she was in Australia, living with a lady whom regularly saw a TCM practitioner. She became intrigued by the diagnostic skills used to evaluate each individual, and read numerous books on the subject to deepen her understanding.
It was a couple of years after this that she embarked upon furthering her knowledge by studying a BSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture. Gemma has also practised Taiji Quan for four years.
